My name is Megha Mummaneni, and I am a senior at Monta Vista High School. As one of the drum majors for the Monta Vista Marching Band, I take on tasks such as conducting field shows, communicating with section leaders and managing logistical aspects of the team. I am also one of the co-presidents for Monta Vista Future Practicing Physicians Network (MVFPPN) — the only medicine-specific club on our school campus. Outside of school, I am the Secretary-Treasurer and Public Relations Officer of the Cupertino Teen Advisory Council, dedicated to promoting STEAM in the city amongst middle and elementary schoolers. In my free time, I enjoy reading Young Adult murder mystery novels, binge-watching TV shows and listening to Olivia Rodrigo.
